Taylor relaxin' in her bean bag chair. I love this patterned paper. I wish I would've bought 10 sheets. I think it's sold out everywhere. Foofala Filigreen---I need more!
Just like every little kid out there Taylor discovered the kitchen drawers. She discovered them months ago but I'm just getting around to getting it on paper. She was assigned a drawer of her own and after many many reminders she decided that would be okay. lol.
Easy layout. Cut the design out of Basic Grey patterned paper, attached brads in parts of the designs, used a Hambly Studios rub-on for journaling and bam--- finished! Stay tuned--there's more.
This layout was easy cuz the paper pretty much sets the scene. Loved putting that little flower in her hair. She would never let that flower stay there in real life. lol.
Attended a 16 hour scrapbooking marathon a couple Saturdays ago. Our LSS (Scrapbooker's Dream in McMurray, PA) held a crop at the Holiday Inn just down the road from our house. How perfect! I was able to run home if needed. I think I finished 7 layouts and a couple cards. Had to take breaks for meals etc.
I plan on sharing a layout each day till I run out so check back!
The theme of this month's crusade is Say What?! Basically, tell everyone about sayings or words that are unique to you and yours.
I'm gonna let you in on a little Taylorism that her Dad and I think is the absolute cutest thing ever. I KNOW----but bear with me here, she's my little baby doll. This crusade is easy for me with a toddler in the house. You never know what you'll hear next.
I have a single word for ya---ZOBE. Zobe ya say? Huh? Say what?! Well, that's a Taylorism for toes. Not just any toes. HER toes. She loves her feet. She loves to look at her toes. She loves to touch her nails one by one. She loves to dump water and milk on her toes. She loves for me to act like I'm smelling her toes and yell "stinky toes!" tmi, I know. She loved wrapping the Easter grass in her toes. Heck my husband wants to start a business named Zobe. His first words were "wonder if zobe.com is available?"- (computer dude) -For goodness sake I'm capitalizing it as I type. It's crazy but these little words just seem to stick and make you smile. She's just a doll.
I was bored with these old ugly gold beads on our little Xmas tree so I decided to rip them off this year. They were headed straight for the trash but Taylor grabbed them first and had a grand ole time.
Yes, I do use pink flowers on Christmasy layouts. There are no rules in scrapbooking. Used some acrylic paints, Basic Grey papers, silk flowers and Bazzill brads.
